It was good to overlay some more light vocal on this. Especially a little harmony on the ‘oooh’ outro. The song is currently having more lyrics written too. The older version is very much more drums and has a rockier/pop feel. This one below is definitely preferred vibe wise.

So it was essential to record a try out of possible vocals on this song. Even though it isn’t finished. Whether the melody is strong enough really. I may need to get more emotional! Get some cracks in my voice.

Jack Daniels?

It was nice to try out the Hohner Les Paul L75 electric guitar the other day. I have had it ‘set up’. I wrote about this on my last blog.

Today it was a case of trying out a couple of verses for vocal melody. I liked the spontaneous ‘oohs’ that I added at the end. So I suppose the effort brought something to hang on to. I may try to do these as David Bowie would sing them. Richer and heavier. Emphasis on the word try…….we are talking Bowie after all. Brave trying to think I can future hold a candle to that one!
