When The XCerts were getting a bit of a groove going, we had some nice little tunes.

The XCerts were Zero Summers (Kev, my late brother), Dave Pepper (Rhythm/Lead guitar) and myself, Gray Summers (Bass guitar).

For a while now, I have been thinking that it may be nice to reimagine a few more of my old songs. Maybe four or five.

‘She Said’, here the song below, was a quick recording stint this morning as a bit of fun really. It was nice to totally reinvent this one and put a gentle beat and calmer groove to it. I haven’t put my Bass guitar tune onto it. So I just played acoustic guitar over a GarageBand percussion beat from their library. And then added little one note layered keyboard melodies. As said, no Bass guitar, because my original Bass lines wouldn’t suit or fit this style. It may be nice to do this one in full at some point. There are more verses and a middle 8 on the original one.

As an observation. It seems better to tap the ‘Watch on YouTube’ option on the screen below. Better quality. Cheers.
