Frankie the Fella. Change happens so fast!

I planned to do a monthly update on Frankie the Fella. Which would have been around Christmas time. But I was up early hours here in Worcester, UK, so needed to do something productive in my daughter’s new house. The family are all asleep and Summers the Insomniac is trying to simply keep quiet. So, hey ho, quick blog. Better than playing Solitaire card games.

I am currently away and have been for four days. Just helping finish off the decorating spruce up of my daughter’s old house. Keys handed over later today. So back to home base in Wales later today and playing music again. Hopefully start planning song arrangements and beginning to re-record in earnest.

My wife says Frankie the Fella has been continually sitting in my chair. So be difficult to get it back I reckon. My wife sent me the top photograph. I was a bit taken aback at how he has changed since the second photograph which was from about a week ago. If he grows at this rate, by Christmas he’ll be a veritable size. Hope he isn’t as playful as now. A huge presence in spinning around like a whirling dervish or dashing around to practice getting up to speed in case he meets Speedy Gonzales the Mouse.

Actually. The only two mice that ever introduced themselves into our house were narrating mouse characters who told me short stories about their adventures once a month. So….I wrote short monthly stories about a family of mice basically. The two narrating mice were Me old china (a classic Cockney rhyming slang of using the words ‘china plate’ for welcoming and greeting a ‘mate’). He was the Father Mouse who heard someone say to him, ‘Hello me old china’ and thought it was his name. And his wife Tinkling Ermine. A very hard of hearing mouse who thought she heard her Tinkling Ermine name when in fact the words were Stinking Vermin.

I know! Too much time on my hands.

UPDATE:

TOOK THESE TWO THE DAY AFTER MY WIFE TOOK THE TOP PHOTOGRAPH. I SUPPOSE IT SHOWS HOW WE CAPTURE PHOTOGRAPHS DIFFERENTLY.
