And so the story goes, to where? No one knows. But it involves a Volkswagen T2 Crossover Bay Bus called Billie Bud (known to most people as ‘WOW, a camper van’); a Pentax LX SLR camera loaded with black and white film; cooking vegetarian food on a basic set up of Cobb cooker, a couple of gas rings and an open fire; reading books; listening to music and the ruminations from a retired Staff Nurse. Well......got to fill the hours outside of being a pensioner somehow.

My daughter in law, Holly, drew a map of the streets and venues on the shop window! That’s Machynlleth for you. Very helpful place!

My wife Angie always loves this time of year for her shop vibe. It simply buzzes. Not only the local community enjoy this iconic event. Lots of visitors are now aware of this hugely successful festival too. It’s simply grown and grown over the years. We thought it would be a simple affair on year one. But something happened to really make it take off. Faerie dust probably. And fantastic positivity vibes.
