It was essential to record a try out of possible vocals on this song today. Whether the melody is strong enough really. I may need to get more emotional! Get some cracks in my voice.

Stars Above the Dunes.

It was nice to try out the Hohner Les Paul L75 electric guitar the other day. I have had it ‘set up’. I wrote about this on my last blog.

Today it was a case of trying out a couple of verses for vocal melody. I liked the spontaneous ‘oohs’ that I added at the end. So I suppose the effort brought something to hang on to. I may try to do these as David Bowie would sing them. Richer and heavier. Emphasis on the word try…….we are talking Bowie after all. Brave trying to think I can future hold a candle to that one!
