Worked on finishing the song ‘Where in the World’ today.

So very much more happy, happy, happy. At the end of listening to it finished? A little sigh of relief.

I thought ‘Great…..I can move onto the next song’ which was played on the acoustic guitar this morning. I like the new melody that was added to its bones.

It is currently called ‘Today’. So hopefully by mid next week, I can get ‘Today’ done now that today is done.

Anyways. This is the new and finished mix on

    1. Thanks Brenda. Music in songwriting and recording is something that brings a fantastic relief currently. So it’s good to dive into these new and calmer songs. As your current blog write ups in finding effective sleep patterns and finding moments to stop and find calm during busy days echo too. These practices are so vitally important.

      So progress is from the enjoyment of what this gives therapeutically.

    1. Hi back Destiny. Really good to hear from you. What is fantastic? Both yourself and cookie have got in touch recently. So nice to receive your thoughts again. Really glad the song brings calm. A few days ago it was sounding a bit more ‘woolly’. Today’s update on the song feels more satisfying now.

      Have you sorted out your Jetpack site problematics yet? I do pop in to check out both yourself and cookie’s sites as often as I can. I’ve been on holiday recently though, so need to catch up again.

      1. After trying multiple things, i deleted the app and reinstalled…and thankfully i didn’t lose any of my content except for the saved posts…seems to be behaving since lol …

        I hadn’t seen any updates from Cookie the last time i peeped in … will visit over and check…

      2. It’s so good that you never lost most of your work. That would have been a tragedy.

        cookie hasn’t posted for a long time. She is taking a well earned break currently. I know she feels inspiration returning to write songs again. So that is brilliant. It is really nice that you are both popping in to read and listen to my songs. Means a lot.

        Being able to write music, lyrics and poetry are sublime properties we own that contribute to settling our souls and bring peace. We are very lucky to have such abilities.

    1. Thank you Kiki. So pleased the song resonated. I suppose we are our own worst critics when we write songs or stories. But we have to have belief in what we do in order to get some songs out there. Retiring from the staff nurse role 5 years ago, it was nice to focus on music again a couple of years ago. The last time playing and songwriting music was regularly in life, with focus and intent, was the early 1980s. So a fair bit of learning how to play again had to be put in place.

      So it fun to now get back and start again.
