Flowers on the Moon?

A few impossibilities that could become probabilities.

To find the end of a piece of cotton thread and, on pulling on it, you find it was lying in a circle around your anxieties, and they are now bound and silent………

It was 04.30-ish. Now it is 06.30-ish. The coffee was sought with a ginger biscuit. Somewhere in between times. I sat in The Den and a pen sat there too. It was silently whispering one simple word into my slumber mind…….

‘Well?’

‘Do you mean ‘Am I well’…….or ‘Well’ what are you going to do now?’ I replied. Silently, in my mind, too.

Can a mind ever be truly silent? Oh I thought. I wonder what other other impossibilities, that could become probabilities, exist?

Flowers on the Moon?

A ladder to the Moon?

And so on………. I should probably write them down and try them out later.

So…….l did. As you do.

It’s good to have a few impossible plans to make sense of and realise reality.

A near horizon, where sand arrow pointers insist that you best turn away from. ‘This way!’ they whispery say.

    1. I initially thought that pens have a habit of not truly knowing what to say. They’re too reliant on the brain that belongs to those who wield them. Here’s the thing. They are, in fact, little Buddha beings that say the minimum to encourage you to seek your own deeper thoughts. Especially the vintage pens that have lived a longer life and witnessed more words on paper. They are the readers of words expressed. Touching the clever, the crude, the silly, the insightful, the useless, the poetic, the fanciful, the genius, the brilliant, the witty, the woeful, the sadness, the happiness, the euphoric. The emotional and knowledgeable plethora. And therefore soak it all up to then analyse and eventually see enlightenment. True Destiny. Honestly. 🙏🏽

  1. Beautiful Gray. I’m with Destiny, love the line ‘flowers on the moon’.who knows where the future will take humankind, I just hope we don’t destroy space, and won’t have destroyed earth.

It’s brilliant what comes to us in the wee small hours 😁

    1. Thank you Brenda. When you saw that rocket? If you could have touched it, a small piece of your genetic make up could have transferred to its surface and you would have found a small part of future you has actually visited space. The wonder of both human beings and science! 😊 Cheers and good fortune Brenda.

    1. Thank you Sheila. Great ‘well’ thought out addition from your mind too. Script? I just write and see the same old, same old. I forget others see it differently. 🙏🏽 Just been out and bought the combo bass cab. A Fender Rumble 500 watt. So I can now get to grips with honing my sound and get it to what will sound right, and work for both live and recording.
