A list of songs has been written down and there are definite songs that are finished now that will be possible to capture on CD format. 12 on each. As the months of the year! So. Currently working on how to get a 3 CD compilation together to give away to family and friends.
It would be ideal to get down 48 songs, 12 songs on each CD, and give each CD a ‘Seasons of the Year’ title. I probably could. I do have that amount of songs in my lifetime. Maybe a gentle acoustic CD of early songs written and captured could be recorded without Bells and Whistles attached. Naivety is a beautiful state of affairs to have been involved in over one’s lifetime. And, with realisation and self humility, that you are still involved in. We never stop learning do we!
Not sure of how long it takes technically. What I mean is…the time process involved in producing each CD in singular fashion by burning from file to disc. Also. How do you get the songs from file to disc by burning each CD either. Is it from the main GarageBand recordings or the sent files in iPad with Highest Quality considered? But a basic CD burner is sitting there now and an intent to start experimenting is bubbling.
The current ‘swirly echoey slower vibe’ has songs to finish off and also re-record properly over the next month of June. During that time, a little bit of CD cover art work and a little booklet of lyrics (with some doodle art intermingled around the lyrics) to slip inside the CD cover somehow. When done, it will then be possible to give them out. No plastic hard cover. Just a strong ‘cardboard’ one.
There will be a limited amount (100) and will they will all be given as a gift to friends and family. I have no intention of selling them. I already know a fair few people who have been really supportive with their feedback and encouragement. So it will be really nice to give them something back. A way to say thank you.

It’s been nice to relax and do some new song ideas. Also, I wondered what to do with them all. And so the CD idea came to mind. I have burned songs to CD decades ago with putting together song compilations of my favourite bands. I then played them in the car. Everything changed when you accessed your iPhone to get at music platforms.
So it will be nice to try again. Cheers Destiny. 🙏🏽🍁🍂

Really good to hear from you cookie. Hope everything is going okay over there in your world. I have been wondering how your own music and life has been going. I drop in from time to time to see if you are active again. Not sure how I do keep going though cookie. Yes I do love writing songs. But I would love to have other musicians alongside at times. By simply providing some of their own playing, singing and motivation. Flying solo is very difficult at times. But..you kind of find strength to keep on keeping on somehow. Luckily I find the energy and ideas for some new melodies. Lots of tunes are very weird. But a few blossom and turn to me to shake hands. So it’s a nice feeling.
I have been thinking deeply for a month or two about this music adventure. This September, which is now only three and a bit months away, I have the 70 years on the planet birthday scenario. It began a chain of thoughts. It would be nice to create a little something that was kind of meaningful for once. Something to give to others. So the aim is to focus on this now. Get the songs on a CD hard copy format to send to you all. I’ve been looking at how to send them out internationally and local postal pick up points to people can be used. Post offices, parcel lockers, parcel shops, DPD/DHL/EVRI pick up points, etc. So no personal addresses are needed. Privacy can be kept for you all. That’s important.
I have a few of you here on WP that have been amazing over the years. So kind and supportive. At home here in the UK, there are my ex colleagues in nursing, family, friends and others from the local community who have been great too. It’s just nice that the feedback to what I am doing musically is gentle.
