Yes. I do believe there is a self song in each and every one of us. A song that helps us to survive.
I wrote this very quickly, on the spur of the moment about an hour and a half ago. Isn’t it strange that a little window in life within an hour and a half can tell me my life-times story.

Getting very maudlin in my older years Stan. 😊 My drummer friend was chatting on the phone yesterday. We were talking about the days we were playing in a band together in the 1980s. He gives nice positive feedback on my current ‘retirement’ project and myself picking up on writing songs again. He says these recent ones have truly mellowed. I agree. I can’t bop ‘til I drop much nowadays.
