‘A VeeDub Bus is a Lifestyle’. 

That was one of my blogs back in June 2018. 

I have had it back in my life now for a small number of years. Since retiring it hasn’t been used much at all. That is a sin to be honest. However. It has been a scenario of problematic sequences. Mainly, well actually, totally mechanical. The weather should be included, but I have travelled and parked up in all sorts of weather in the past. There is no point boring anyone with the mechanical why’s and how’s. 

Today another start up is on the cards. Running until the drop off the choke arm goes into a lower tick over, a splutter and a cut out of the engine. This done in order so as to keep the battery alive. But tomorrow, a Sunday, for the first time in months I will put her in reverse, get to the bottom of the drive and take her for a spin. Got a feeling it will be a bumpy/jerky ride. 

But hey! Ever the optimist……I bet she will surprise my inner soul and she will fly.
