Explanations, Explanations.

‘Tread softly’ says my mind. ‘Take each step one at a time’ says my inner soul. ‘A journey starts with a single step’ said a wise mind centuries ago.

So. Being unfamiliar with the YouTube video world, I began with the songs alongside simple imagery. ‘Just do something’ shouts my mind back at me. ‘Don’t overcomplicate everything’ says my instincts. It wasn’t wise to wait and create the type of videos the Cloud 9 project is dreaming of. Those videos are around the corner. Simple presentations are quite nice starters. And give confidence to go on to improve the whole experience.

Uploading your songs on to YouTube and allow people to witness a journey. Seems about right. Rather like the ‘Warts and All’ uploads that I try to do here on WordPress. So, by way of starting a couple of weeks ago, the songs attached to videos that some of you have seen here on WP have been sent to YT land.

Here’s the latest of about 11 or 12.

    1. So you are well used to these technological needs. I did see that you can provide just a narrative format when looking at YouTube behind the scenes. And I did witness such recorded lectures, as you describe, when nursing. Educational sharing long distance. Especially in those COVID keep your distance times.

    1. Sources to accessible material are vital to someone with an Aphantasia mind. Your presented video visuals can trigger the revisits to educational taught memories. Strange as an observation, but because I cannot bring any mind imagery up, the knowledge gets lost in the brain. Floating words tumble around the grey matter really. The links to retaining information are very much weakened. Difficult to explain why this is. But it just ‘is’. Cheers Brenda.

    1. When I did teacher training, as you know and say here now yourself, you have to think how the student likes and needs to have an effective learning experience. Over the months to ? years now of reading your blogs and advice, you often speak of these considerations. Hence your success as a fine lecturer.

      1. Thank you Gray. I hadn’t realised it but Covid had changed what I was doing once I was back in the classroom. With the use.of AI to collaborate, I’m changing that and hopefully I’ll have happier, more engaged students

    1. Thanks Stan. I subscribed to yours a while back too. So much here on WP I sometimes miss posts. YouTube is more compact for myself at the moment, so notifications are more seldom. Therefore, I can pick up easier. But a lot to learn still.

I like your videos of the nature and countryside inclusions to go alongside your music. Gives it an amazing visual and aural ambience. I know someone in the village who uses a drone to get seriously great aerial shots. He used to YouTube upload too. But suddenly stopped. So I may approach him for some inspiration and inclusion.

      Cheers again Stan.

    1. I like that one too. That’s why I uploaded it first I think. Be nice when I get enough moving outdoor imagery onto film and music to put together. I need to find a video editing tool too. All this learning Destiny. My brain is complaining. 😊

      1. I am just experimenting with uploads presently. Attaching visual images, colours and words to the songs. I have 6 subscribers so far, so that is nice. When the videos of being outside in conversation and playing music are being recorded for future songs, then I feel a more human interactive element will be more interesting for viewers to watch. More fun for myself too. Thank you so much Destiny for your support. Much appreciated. 🙏🏽
