When the mind whirs. These below are insights into how thought processes develop. At times? A lightbulb moment of ‘Yes…possible’. At other times? Gray….you’re crazy Man. You ain’t got the skills’.
The latter utterance? It just provides a challenge in all honesty and determination starts to rear its head.
So…….thoughts.
These little weird and naive doodles of mine, the Ragged Angel and LeFarh and future others, if they get better, could maybe be used for a song’s lyrics, each image appropriate for the song theme. Or song titles, etc. Or even general CD cover inclusions. Could also be used as stills or moving imagery for inclusions for videos.
It would be nice to get at this song below again with some type of storyboard of ‘movingstaggered motion’ doodle inclusions. Not the simplicity of a singular black and white photograph of the Visitors Centre on the Ynyslas Dunes. I could put imagery on top of a photograph maybe and bring an air of oddity into creating a juxtaposition of layers.
How?
Still thinking……but it may be an idea to take still photographs of various stages of an image, like the ‘Ragged Angel’ idea, until complete. Or get a moving, ever changing background of, for example, some intense weather changes. Maybe a few angels can be drawn having bowed heads and forlorn expressions to go on to upright confident outlooks with brighter days imagery. How do you get ‘cartoon’ picture movement? Maybe use pencil, rub out specific parts and redraw the stance? Who knows!
A journey of learning begins!
This below too, ‘There She Goes’, could have a singular story in completion. A group of or singular conversation exchanges of ‘My friends tell me She’s gone for good’, etc. ‘Walking hand in hand by the sea…..until we, say our goodbyes, touch the sky…..’.
And a huge NO! to using an AI storyboard.
I’m beginning to try to produce some quick little 3 to 5 minute-sketches. Unfortunately I’m not an artist. But it is rather fun to doodle. Hopefully it will be a ‘sit down and try to improve’ experimentation experience. The aim…..just enjoy the act of simply drawing dozens on dozens of little weirdly appropriate pencil images, with inspiration linked to my song lyrics.

You can tap on an image below and it will fill up each and every page.

It would be rather nice if something visually ‘clicked’. Get a Summers’ style of presentation that made the whole drawing process somewhat easier. I like raggedy imagery to be honest. With Autumn rustic colour washes over them? Could work.
Will probably, at first, try enhancing with the Autumnal tree inks below. These below were bought for me by Angie, and seem ideal.

The Green Faerie? Not my artwork.

the autumn rustic colors…i like this.
… and Frail Autumm and your motto have been playing around in my head weaving itself through my words … im
working on it lol …🤭 but not rushing it too – contemplating leaving here 🥴… and if i do leave…it will be my farewell post lol …
still great going, Gray … 🤍

Hi Destiny. When you say ‘leaving here’, do you mean WordPress? If so, it would be a shame. It is strange, but the whole experience of writing blogs with specific intentions of a massive variety is a very intense activity. You can easily either get to the point of feeling it is important to keep uploading. Or the opposite of uploading with a long time in between. Once a month even.
I have had a fair few blog member friends who have actively exchanged regularly for a number of years and then suddenly stopped their site activity. They keep the blog open, but go away for months to years on end. Some never to return.
I have done the same with sites like Flickr or Pentax photography sites. Also the Earl Bay site with my Volkswagen camper van. I never access those sites now, but had a lot of friendly exchanges sharing advice, etc.
I actually use the WP blog site as a personal place to keep my information in order to simply future access if needs be. Lots of my write ups exist in Draft. It is nice having conversational exchanges too. But it can be very much an off the cuff activity of ‘suddenly think of an idea’ and then write something up.
I am not sure if you work full time, but this can really impact on having time for blog activity too. When I was a nurse I hardly posted. I hardly interacted either. Whatever you decide, it will feel right.
Cheers Destiny. 🙏🏽🍁🍂
