FOUND IN DRAFT. RE-READ AND UPDATED TO INCLUDE THE VERY LAST ‘FRAIL AUTUMN….FOREVER. THE ULTIMATE GOAL’ LINE.

AND A VIDEO MOVING THE FRAIL NAME AROUND ACCOMPANIED BY THE SONG ‘YEAR ONE’.

I LIKE THE POSITIVITY. THE THEMED OPPOSITES IDEAL OF EITHER CHOOSING SERENITY OR ADVENTUROUS CHOICES IN LIFE. YOU COULD SAY BOTH EXIST IN EITHER CHOICE ANYWAYS.

AND ALSO..I ENJOYED RE-READING THE PROSE IN THIS BLOG. COULD MAKE A DECENT SONG THEME TOO.

SO HAVE RE-POSTED IT. ALSO, IT GIVES MOTIVATION TO GET THE FOUNTAIN PENS, A DEDICATED WINTERY SONGWRITING JOURNAL AND PUT THE GUITARS BACK INTO ACTION AND WRITE SOME NEW SONGS……..

Thinking about a life well led. Different aspects can belong permanently or transiently. Depending on the needs for the moment or longer days to years. This photograph below is our top landing area. The Left turns to a small room. Safety and Serenity within its four walls. Onwards leads to Night’s Sleep and therefore Tomorrow’s Choice. The Right leads to the staircase downwards. To other rooms or even outdoors. Therefore Escape to where you decide to choose.

I thought of these individual, fragmented words below and then put them together in random ways and typed them playfully down.

Serenity…….

Become Bathed in Serenity.

Darkness to Light to Darkness again. Birth to Death and In-Between. Look Left and Imagine. Then take Ownership of the Imaginings. What Powerful Message can be Seen? In This. This Space. This pleasurable In-Between. This Restrictive Place. Safe. Enlightenment Its Theme.

Life is Simplicity. Predictable and Clean. Proffering. Offering. It Calls. So Enter into the Beguiling Light. And Seek….What could and should be Serene.

On the Journey Throughout Life. This ‘You Only Live Once, Not Twice’ Life. Where Spirit Envelops. Gently Bathes. Enlightens, Brightens and Saves. Turn Left. Seek Dreams. Grasp the Wisps of Light’s Guiding Beguiling Beams.

Find New Answers. That Massage the Soul. Dance to your Heartbeat in it’s Frequency Role, Tender. Sweet. Fait Accompli. Frequently in Control.

Adventure……

Become an Avid Adventurer.

Or Choose. Why? Choice is Divine. There’s Nothing to Lose. Turn Right, into the Twilight Zone. It’s Sublime. Toward Shifting, Spiralling Stories. The Vast Unknown. Not Imaginings. Just Presentations. Possibilities. Opportunities. All Kinds of Everything’s. The Past, Present, Future. Yours to Own.

Live on the Edge. Step onto the Path. Take the Adventurer’s Pledge and Simply Laugh. Into the Face of it All. Have a Ball. Seek and You’ll Find. It Often Calls.

Dance to a Different Tune. Explore the Madness that Exists In the Fullness of Moon. The Ebbs and Flows. That Routinely Persist. To Scare. Accept the Kiss From the Breath of Freshness Mingled with Excitement in the Air. The Breath of Life. Always There. Face the Fear and Don’t be Scared. Be Aware.

Find New Adventures. That Massage the Soul. Dance to It’s Heartbeat. Its Unknown Role. Bittersweet. Incomplete. Never in Control.

    1. Thank you Brenda. Was influenced by your own post yesterday about safety and adventure. I saw the Jetpack prompt when I tapped into my app a day or two ago? Not sure when. Holiday mind! 😊 Was deleting photos and saw this photograph I took ages ago and it all came into place. Thanks for your own words. They led to this. All the best.

    1. Very humbled to get such a wonderful reply cookie. I believe you know already through your songs, that when the mind hits a certain gear and words just tumble down, you simply write them down as they gather pace. These Serenity or Adventure words can’t be considered lyrics in verse or chorus form. But I can choose a few worded lines and go on to build a fuller song theme.

      Your reply here has massive prose/poetic tones itself. I suppose we both, and other lyricists too, seek to explain our daily life’s experiences or dreamed hope for’s, in this style of presentation. Both experiences and reactions to them are more than a simple ‘Enjoyed this blog’ statement. And dreams are not ‘I hope I win the lottery tonight’ but more soulful I suppose. We seek to put into words our own inner soul’s hopes for a brighter self future. Although! Winning the lottery would be nice. 😊 So a huge thank you for your kind words again. Cheers cookie.

    1. Thanks Sheila. When a bunch of words can be separated and isolated into three/four/five in a row, as these can, it is good to then use the small collective and put a melody to them. Then they can be expanded into lyrics for song ideas. So I write a few out on paper, pick up the guitar and experiment. This whole flow of prose type presentation of Serenity and Adventure choices here can also give an umbrella themed idea too. Cheers.
